Parent Checklist

Your child will need a nutritious lunch: i.e. sandwiches, cut up fruit or veggies, lunchmeat rollups, yogurt, cheese, crackers, or jello are some examples.

PLEASE NO PEANUT BUTTER OR ANYTHING CONTAINING NUTS OF ANY KIND, we have children in the program who are severely allergic.

We provide water for morning snack and milk for lunch.

You will need to provide a plastic cup for your child to use each time, please make sure your child’s cup is marked with his/her name on it.

Your child will need a nap mat for rest time (this applies only to the 1-3 yr. olds), we ask that you not bring bulky items, as space is limited.

Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for active play, both inside and outside, use of tempera paint, glue, etc., we learn by doing!

An extra set of clothing should be in their backpacks in the event that there is an unforeseen accident or spill.

Please label EVERYTHING! This will ensure that your child’s belongings will go home at the end of each school day/year.

Your child will have a daily sheet every Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.

This will keep you updated on what happened that day, what your child ate, diapering/potty times, how they interacted with classmates/teachers, and also upcoming events and concerns.

Your child will also have a folder which contains any and all papers that they have completed and take home fun sheets.

PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK AND BRING YOUR CHILD’S FOLDER EVERYDAY, this is how we can further communicate with you.

It will have important information, and your child will be excited to show you his/her accomplishments of the day/week.

All incoming 3 yr. olds should be fully potty trained before entering the program.

We want your child to succeed in this area, just let us know how we can help, we have restrooms connected to each classroom.

The Kingdom Kids door is locked at 10:00. this ensures the safety of your precious little ones.

If you arrive after 10:00, you will need to enter through the office doors located in the back of the building.

Our church staff are available to respond to the door bell and to let you in.

You can sign up for snack rotation in your child’s class.

If your child wants to bring in cupcakes for snack on his/her birthday that is just fine, we look forward to helping them celebrate another year of growing!
